I judge you when you use poor grammar
OK, I admit it: I'm a grammar stickler and have little tolerance for people who mix up "your" and "you're" or can't distinguish between "to" and "too". Mistakes happen - and I know I make plenty of them! - but these kinds of grammar issues just jump off a page at me.

If you are like me, then I have a terrific little book for you. I Judge You When You Use Poor Grammar is a fun little book that makes you chuckle, shake your head, and double-check your own spelling.

The book is brutal in its coverage of all walks of life, from store signage to newspapers to food and drink. And, of course, there is the obligatory "Lost in Translation" chapter.

Here are some examples - enjoy and buy the book at Amazon (click for larger images):

Then there's the online comment I recently read from a widow: "I still miss Harry so much. Sometimes I spray some of his old colon into the air so I can feel close to him again.

Great post.It is important to get a translation done right instead of having "that guy from accounting" do it over the weekend. I would also like to point out that a professional translation agency usually offers proofreading services (or just includes them in the translation fee). Believe me, it does help!
