Unnecessary quotation marks - medical translation
OK, I admit it. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see quotation marks used to emphasize text. As in:
people should "write" English with punctuation marks that "make sense"
Anyway, it turns out that Bethany Keeley shares my point of view. But instead of just being annoyed, she takes it a step further and posts pics on her blog.

There is some seriously funny stuff on there. But warning: If you are a grammar geek, the "blog" of "unnecessary" quotation marks can become addictive! (It's also OK to admit it if you need a refresher on the "rules" for correct quotation mark usage - check out Wikipedia.)
