OK, I admit it. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see quotation marks used to emphasize text. As in:
There is some seriously funny stuff on there. But warning: If you are a grammar geek, the "blog" of "unnecessary" quotation marks can become addictive! (It's also OK to admit it if you need a refresher on the "rules" for correct quotation mark usage - check out Wikipedia.)
